Lindi LakayBachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) Lindi is known for her calm and patient nature and is able to build a rapport easily with both children and their families. She brings warmth, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills to her practice and takes great pride in supporting children to reach their full potential. Lindi was born in South Africa and moved to New Zealand with her family as a teenager. She completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) at Auckland University of Technology and has developed a strong passion for working with children. Lindi has experience working with children with a range of challenges and disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and global developmental delay. Lindi enjoys the opportunity to be creative, playful, and purposeful in her work, helping children build essential life skills in a way that is both meaningful and fun. She believes occupational therapists have unique skills that can make a significant impact on a child’s development, confidence, and overall well-being. Lindi is committed to ongoing learning and professional growth. She has recently completed certifications in DIR Floortime and The Traffic Jam in My Brain, aimed at supporting children with sensory processing challenges and social-emotional needs. In her personal time, Lindi enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors, including camping, nature walks, trips to the beach, as well as exploring new adventures and craft projects. | ![]() |
