Serena Wynne (Occupational Therapist) Master of Science in Occupational Therapy - University of Essex, England Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Physical Activity - Atlantic Technological University, Sligo, Ireland Serena is an Occupational Therapist. She is passionate about making a meaningful and positive difference for children and families within the Allied Health space. Serena has worked across the Irish (HSE), UK (NHS), and Australian healthcare systems, most recently within the NDIS. These experiences have allowed her to develop a broad and diverse clinical skill set, while strengthening her commitment to family-centred and strengths-based practice. She has experience supporting children and young people with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and rare genetic conditions. She particularly enjoys working with children and is inspired by their curiosity, resilience, and unique perspectives. Serena has a strong interest in early intervention, especially supporting children under three during these important developmental years. Serena brings energy, enthusiasm, and fun into her therapy sessions, believing that therapy should feel engaging, supportive, and motivating. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and excited to participate, whether they are young children or teenagers. Outside of work, Serena enjoys travelling and discovering new cultures. Living, studying and working in different countries has helped her build adaptability, cultural awareness, and strong problem-solving skills, all of which she carries into her professional practice. She enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and participating in team sports, particularly Gaelic football and basketball.
