Taya Blimbaum(Occupational Therapist Assistant)Masters of Science (Occupational Therapy) -University of Western Ontario, Ontario, Canada
She recognises that therapy is most effective when it considers the whole child including their relationships, routine, and environment. She is committed to lifelong learning and expands her knowledge by continually engaging in professional development. Taya is passionate about empowering children to thrive through fun, goal-oriented therapy. She values the role of creativity, play, and connection in helping children build their skills and confidence, and she loves tailoring her sessions to match each child’s unique strengths and interests. Her passion for occupational therapy was sparked through early experiences shadowing occupational therapists and grew stronger as she witnessed the incredible impact therapy can have on a child’s life. She has experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability, Language Delay, motor difficulties, and Sensory Processing challenges across a variety of age groups and cultural backgrounds. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, being creative, and spending time outdoors. She finds creative hobbies and nature to be a great way to recharge and stay grounded. | ![]() |
