Taya BlimbaumOccupational Therapist AssistantMasters of Science (Occupational Therapy) -University of Western Ontario, Ontario, Canada Taya completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in Canada, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and client- and family-centred care. She recognises that therapy is most effective when it considers the whole child, including their relationships, daily routines and environment. Taya is committed to lifelong learning and continually expands her knowledge through ongoing professional development. Taya is passionate about empowering children to thrive through fun, goal-oriented therapy. She values creativity, play and connection as powerful tools for building skills and confidence and enjoys tailoring her sessions to align with each child’s unique strengths, interests and goals. Her passion for occupational therapy began through early experiences shadowing Occupational Therapists and grew as she witnessed the meaningful impact therapy can have on a child’s life. Taya has experience supporting children across a range of ages and cultural backgrounds, including those with Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, intellectual disability, language delay, motor challenges and sensory processing differences. Outside of work, Taya enjoys travelling, being creative and spending time outdoors. She finds connection with nature and creative hobbies to be grounding and re-energising.
