Rose MurrellOccupational Therapist & SupervisorBachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) - Curtin University of Technology Rose is a warm, enthusiastic and highly motivated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting children and their families to achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes. She takes a personalised approach to therapy, recognising that no two children are the same and carefully tailors her sessions to meet each child’s individual strengths, needs and goals. Rose has experience working with children across a wide range of ages and diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome and language delay. She delivers both individual and joint therapy sessions across a variety of settings, including schools, homes and the clinic, with a strong focus on ensuring that skills developed in therapy translate into everyday life. Building positive and trusting relationships is central to Rose’s practice. She places great importance on collaborating closely with children, families and other key supports and encourages open communication to maximise growth, development and participation. Rose has a particular interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, those with sensory processing challenges and children developing fine and gross motor skills. She is a strong advocate for early intervention and is committed to supporting children to actively engage in all aspects of their daily routines in meaningful and enjoyable ways. Rose believes therapy should be fun, motivating and engaging while always remaining purposeful and goal-focused. Rose is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed training including Traffic Jam in My Brain. She is trained in the SOS Approach to Eating and the Zones of Regulation program and is currently completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis through the University of Western Australia. Outside of work, Rose enjoys keeping active, spending time with friends and family and discovering Sydney’s best brunch spots.
