Amparo do CampoOccupational TherapistBachelor of Psychological Science and Masters in Occupational Therapy Practice - La Trobe University, Melbourne Amparo is a friendly and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who enjoys supporting children and young people to achieve their therapy goals. She takes a strengths-based approach and recognises that effective therapy can be delivered in a variety of ways, including individualised programs, group sessions and home-based therapy. Amparo places strong value on the role of parents and carers and actively involves them in therapy to support progress beyond sessions. Amparo brings a broad range of therapeutic skills, with experience working across the mental health and disability sectors. She enjoys supporting children and young people to make meaningful progress in areas such as fine motor skills, self-care, social skills, emotional regulation, toileting and community participation. Amparo is also experienced in equipment prescription and assistive technology and recently presented at VISCON 2025 on the use of adaptive technology to improve outcomes in fine motor and self-care tasks. Amparo is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed training in the SOS Approach to Feeding, Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2), The Alert Program for Self-Regulation, DIR Floortime, Traffic Jam in My Brain and Circle of Security. Originally from Brisbane, Amparo has recently relocated to Sydney and is enjoying getting to know her new city. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking and exploring Sydney’s beautiful parks and beaches. Work days: Amparo works Wednesday to Friday.
